The Job Readiness is a program designed for middle and high school students to prepare youth for entry into the workplace. Through this program, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation and its colleagues provide a hands-on learning experience with writing a resume and preparing for an interview.
Through this program, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation will assist youth in uplifting self-esteem properties by minimizing fear factors of not getting the job, while injecting confidence to enter any interview with confidence.
The Job Readiness program also touches on work–life– balance, a key element for the longevity of any employment decision.
Although, this program is open to high school students, it is also available for community members who may be entering or returning to the workforce environment.
