Introduction:
Fashion Umbrella Foundation recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy and rights of individuals captured in photographs and images. This Photo Release Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures governing the use and dissemination of photos and pictures taken during our events, programs, or any other activities organized or sponsored by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation. This policy ensures that individuals' rights are respected while allowing the organization to promote its mission and activities through visual content.
Definitions:
1.1. "Photo" refers to any still or moving image taken during Fashion Umbrella Foundation's events, programs, or activities, including photographs and videos.
1.2. "Individual" refers to any person captured in the photo.
Consent for Photo Release:
2.1. Before capturing any photos, Fashion Umbrella Foundation will request explicit written consent from individuals who may appear in the pictures. The authorization will clearly state the purpose for which the images will be used, potential methods of dissemination, and any other relevant details.
2.2. Fashion Umbrella Foundation will collect and securely store consent forms for future reference.
2.3. Consent is automatically given after an event registration or ticket purchase is completed.
a) This policy is in effect and covers any event requiring registration or ticket purchases.
b) This policy is agreed to with the presence of the individual or attendee.
Use of Photos:
3.1. Fashion Umbrella Foundation will use the photos solely for the purposes stated in the policy.
3.2. The permitted uses may include, but are not limited to:
a) Promotional materials: brochures, flyers, posters, and digital media.
b) Website and social media: Displaying photos on the Fashion Umbrella Foundation's official website, social media channels, and other digital platforms.
c) Newsletters and publications: Including photos in newsletters, reports, and other printed or digital publications related to the organization's activities.
d) Presentations: Using photos in presentations or slideshows at events, conferences, or meetings.
Dissemination of Photos:
4.1. Fashion Umbrella Foundation will take reasonable measures to ensure that photos are only shared with individuals and entities related to the organization or its activities.
4.2. Photos may be shared with the following parties:
a) Fashion Umbrella Foundation staff and volunteers involved in event promotion or organization.
b) Media outlets, partners, or sponsors, as agreed upon in specific partnerships.
c) Individuals who have provided explicit consent to use the photos for personal or professional purposes directly related to the organization's activities.

Withholding or Revoking Consent:
5.1. Individuals who have previously provided consent for photo release may choose to revoke their consent at any time by notifying Fashion Umbrella Foundation in writing.
5.2. Fashion Umbrella Foundation will promptly cease using and disseminating photos of individuals who have withdrawn their consent.
Privacy and Security:
6.1. Fashion Umbrella Foundation will take appropriate measures to protect the privacy and security of the photos, ensuring they are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.
6.2. The organization will not sell or provide photos to third parties for commercial purposes without explicit consent from the individuals depicted.
Minors:
7.1. Special care will be taken when obtaining consent for photo release from minors (under 18). Permission must be obtained from their parent(s) or legal guardian.
Compliance:
8.1. Fashion Umbrella Foundation will comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the use and dissemination of photos.
Policy Review:
9.1. This Photo Release Policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with changing laws and regulations.
Individuals acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Photo Release Policy by participating in or attending a Fashion Umbrella Foundation event, program, or activity.
I acknowledge that I am legally authorized to provide consent for the individual(s) depicted in the photos. I have read and understood the terms of this Photo Release Policy and grant permission to use and disseminate the images as described.
